Course Content

The course is based on over 17 years of practical franchise mediation experience and uses real life examples to show how to prevent and resolve franchise disputes.

We will discuss the development of mediation under the Franchising Code of Conduct and compare mediation with other dispute resolution processes. We will also examine the role of the mediator and the skills that enable effective mediation. The various stages of the mediation process will be demonstrated by the course leaders and the benefits and possible hot spots to be avoided will be explored in group forum.
